Chris Beichner

Chris Beichner is responsible for implementing the strategic plan, fundraising, budgeting and financial management for the MWCDC. Chris has extensive economic and community development experience. Chris was formerly the Director of Community Development & Planning for the Northwest Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission.

Mr. Beichner graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2000 with a BS in Business Management and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Economic Development Institute in 2005.

The key responsibilities of the Park Resource Manager for the Grandview Scenic Byway Park are managing the strategic vision and tactical implementation of the GVSBP Master Implementation Plan, driving the fundraising efforts needed to make the GVSBP a reality, coordinating GVSBP planning activities with a wide range of stakeholders and developing relationships with existing and future partners.

Ilyssa's career has taken her to Africa. She was involved in elephant conservation in Ethiopia and community-based wildlife conservation in Zambia. Ilyssa has earned a master’s degree in nature conservation and was awarded a doctorate in development anthropology from Binghamton University, SUNY.

Greg Panza

Greg Panza, MWCDC Program Manager graduated from LaRoche College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Design, worked as a Project Designer for three years with Design Alliance Architects, where he was a member of the design team for the award winning ALCOA Corporation's World Headquarters. Greg honed his skills as Project Manager for Desert Viking Builders, gaining experience in planning, budgeting and managing large-scale construction projects.

Since 2003, Greg has managed the Mainstreets Business Program and with a team of community volunteers and has achieved exceptioanl results for this community.
